Membership

We are thrilled you are interested in the Cartersville Service League!  Our organization exists to foster and promote involvement in and support for the social, economic, educational, cultural and civic organizations of Bartow County.  We accomplish our mission by giving our time and by giving grants from funds we raise, annually.  We are always looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and talented women to join us in our cause.

How to Join

Admission into the Cartersville Service League is by recommendation from one sponsor and two endorsements from an active member or a sustaining member.   The sponsors and endorsers should recommend prospective members based upon the individuals’s positive attitude toward her community, the welfare of its citizens and the Cartersville Service League.  A prospective member should be responsible, dependable, and possess the potential to develop into an effective Cartersville Service League member.  Prospective member applications are due in early February each year for the upcoming League year (April-March).

Membership Criteria

A potential member:

• must be 21 years of age by January 1st of the year being proposed
• must have lived in Bartow County 
• must have actively participated in civic and community organizations within Bartow County
• must be in a position to assume responsibility of volunteer service
